Ramu Saw the petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. 436 of 2012, corresponding to Trial No. 2429 of 2012, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 494, 323, 379, 504 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. The complainant being the wife of the petitioner made allegation that the petitioner forced her to get land transferred in his name. It is further alleged that the petitioner solemnized his second marriage.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner denied allegations made by his wife. It appears that the dispute arose between the husband and wife on account of demand of dowry. The petitioner is in jail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35875 of 2014 (2) dt.24-12-2014 since 20.05.2014.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is in jail for about seven months, he, namely, Ramu Saw is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Rajesh Prasad, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Complaint Case No. 436 of 2012, corresponding to Trial No. 2429 of 2012.
