Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offence under Sections 420, 406, 409 of the Indian Penal Code on the allegation that he defalcated seven trucks of rice. Aforesaid First Information Report has been registered by the Circle Officer, Charpokhari under the instruction of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Piro, Bhojpur. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been implicated in this case without appreciating the fact that it was the petitioner who brought to light the defalcation of rice by his subordinate against whom he not only submitted information to the superior officer, but also lodged First Information Report.
