Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case under section 47(A) of the Excise Act.
Petitioner states that he is licensee for two liquor shops in the said Sub-division for the year 2013-14. He submits that for the alleged offence the Collector issued show cause as to why licence be not cancelled. The has filed suppl. affidavit bringing on record the order of the Collector (Annexure 5). It would appear from the chart contained in the order that there was no shortfall of liquor minus the quantity that was sold on the relevant day.
