The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 332, 333, 337, 353, 427, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that on protest of kidnapping of a minor girl Purnea-Katihar road was blocked but when the police reached there the accused persons pelted stones as a result of which police personnel received injury.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation is against the mob when a statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39124 of 2013 (2) dt.24-12-2013 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Korha (Rautara) P.S. Case No. 375 of 2012, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
