This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Excise Case No. 149 of 2020, disclosing offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Considering the huge quantity of illicit liquor (531 liters) said to have been recovered from the car, which was occupied by these petitioners, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of regular bail to the petitioners for the present. This application is rejected.
The petitioners shall be at liberty to renew their prayer for regular bail after six months in case there is no substantial
