2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bounsi P.S. Case No. 113 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c)/20(b)(ii) (A)/22(b)/25/29 of NDPS Act, 1985.
3. According to the FIR, the police got a confidential information that Nand Kishor Jha was engaged in illicit business of ganja. His house was raided and 0.475 kg of ganja was recovered from his house.
4. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is father of Nand Kishor Jha and that is why he has falsely been implicated. The FIR itself shows that Nand Kishor Jha, who is son of the petitioner, is dealing in illicit business of ganja. He has submitted further that the petitioner has falsely been

The son of the petitioner (main accused) has been granted regular bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court. He has also submitted that the quantity of recovered contraband is much below the commercial quantity.
5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (NDPS) Act, Banka in connection with Bounsi P.S. Case No. 113 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
7. The petitioner shall physically appear before the learned court below on each and every date till framing of the charge. In case of failure on two consecutive dates, unless he is prevented by extremely adverse circumstances, the learned court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
