2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 118(1), 74, 109, 303(2), 351(2), 352 and 3(5) of the BNS.

3. Allegation against the petitioners is to have demanded Rs.5,00,000 from the informant and upon his refusal, they assaulted the informant and his family members causing grievous injuries to several persons.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. He next submits that both parties are neighbour and two victim persons, namely, Md. Mumtaj Alam and Md. Gufran have sustained injuries which are found to be simple in nature.

5. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners and submits that they have assaulted the informant as well as his family members causing grievous injuries.

6. On perusal of the first information report, case diary and impugned order dated 07.04.2026, it appears that petitioners are named in the FIR and they attacked the house of the informant and demanded extortion amount of Rs.5,00,000/- and assaulted the family members of the informant causing injuries and they misbehaved with the informant's daughter-inlaw and forcibly entered the house and looted cash and ornaments. From perusal of paragraphs-9, 10 and 11 of the case diary, the several witnesses have supported the case of the prosecution and medical reports also shows that 2 inches x 1⁄2 inch was found on the left temporal region of the head of the injured Md. Mumtaz causing hard and blunt substance and the investigation is still pending, so I am not inclined to grant

7. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is hereby rejected.
