Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offence under Section 302 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. There is a counter version of the occurrence also as there is casualty on the side of the petitioner as well. Petitioner is said to have assaulted the deceased with brick-bat after he suffered gun shot injury at the instance of Umesh Singh, the deceased of the counter case.
