The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Marhowrah P. S. Case No.169 of 2021, instituted for the offences under Sections 30, 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2021 and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case.

Allegation is of recovery of 530 litre of liquor from different places and the name of this petitioner has come in the confessional statement of Guddu Nat.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated merely

Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 25.07.2021 and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- 2nd Special Judge, Excise/ concern Court, Saran in connection with Marhowrah P. S. Case No.169 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
