2. Mr. Deepak Kumar, learned AC to GP-4 appears for the State. He has drawn the attention of this Court towards the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the Investigating Agency. The investigation has revealed that the daughter of the informant has appeared and made a statement under Section 164
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1642 of 2023(4) dt.22-12-2023 2/2 Cr.P.C. in which she has stated to have left her house on her own volition without any coercion, threat or allurement. She has stated that she had fallen in love with Arvind Ram and she asked her family members to get her marriage solemnized with him which was not accepted by them, so she left her house, came to Patna with Arvind Ram and had solemnized her marriage with him on 12.09.2023 at Arya Samaj Mandir, Patna.
3. In the aforesaid view of the matter, police has submitted final form. It is submitted that this application has become infructuous and may be for that reason now the petitioners are not interested in pursuing this writ application.
4. In the given facts and circumstances and the materials present in the counter affidavit, this writ application is being dismissed as having become infructuous. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J) lekhi/- U
