Petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Amas P.S.Case No.210 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 272, 273/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act,2016.
The allegation is regarding recovery of 141.06 litres of illicit Royal Stag wine from the TATA Indigo Car. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are neither the owner nor the Driver of the said vehicle and he has been falsely implicated in the present case. . It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.59394 of 2017 (2) dt.22-12-2017 2/2 languishing in jail custody since 06.10.2017. Considering the nature of accusation, the period of `custody already undergone and the fact that the petitioners have got a clean antecedent, I direct the petitioners, named above, to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge Excise Act, Gaya, in Amas P.S.Case No.210 of 2017.
