2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Turkauliya P. S. Case No. 1233 of 2023 in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is a case of dowry death. As per prosecution case, marriage of the sister of informant was solemnized with this petitioner on 10.03.2022 and thereafter, she was subjected to torture and harassment for dowry. It is further alleged that this petitioner along with other accused persons killed the sister of informant due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79080 of 2024(2) dt.20-12-2024 2/2 petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody since 27.08.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is none other than husband of the deceased and thrust of accusation of killing the deceased due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry is against the petitioner.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of the offence, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
