====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE A. ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 24-12-2025 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the Counsels.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given a representation dated 26.09.2020 to the DCLR, Danapur ventilating his grievance for correcting his name in the Khatiyan. However, the

Learned counsel for the petitioner, therefore, seeks a direction from this Court to direct the Collector, Patna i.e. Respondent No. 4 herein to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner by fixing a time frame.

Per contra, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent-State submits that the representation filed along with the present writ petition are given to the Circle Officer as well as the DCLR, Danapur and there is no representation of the Collector, Patna having received the same. Learned counsel submits that in case the petitioner, if so advised, he can give a fresh representation to the Respondent No. 4 herein and the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a fresh representation along with necessary document to the Collector, Patna i.e. Respondent No. 4 herein within a period of four weeks from today. On such representation been received, the authority shall endeavour to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of the receipt of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20433 of 2025(2) dt.24-12-2025 3/3 representation by the petitioner. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

5. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of.
