The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 212 of 2018 for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The allegation against the petitioner is that he was the driver of vehicle involved in transportation of the liquor. He submits that the name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused.
