By way of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. the petitioner is seeking extension of parole for a period of three months for operation of his wife which has been scheduled on 28th December, 2017, to arrange funds for family and to maintain social ties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application before the NCT of Delhi seeking parole for a period of three months but the same has not been decided till date. 4.

Learned ASC for the State submits that the application of the petitioner seeking parole will be decided within a period of two weeks. 5.

In view of the assurance given by the learned ASC for the State the writ petition is disposed of with directions to the State to dispose of the application of the petitioner within the period of two weeks. Order dasti.
