THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY WRIT PETITION NO.38982 OF 2013 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that the respondents have been proposing to assign the agricultural land, already assigned to them, to third parties in the '7th phase land distribution program'.

At the hearing, learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Assignments), on instructions, submitted that the petitioners were indeed granted assignments as claimed by them in this Writ Petition and that they have kept the assigned lands uncultivated. She has,

however, stated that as of now there is no proposal for distribution of land to third parties and that if the petitioners are found to have violated the assignment conditions, the respondents will initiate appropriate proceedings in law for cancellation of the assignments. In the light of the above submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, which are placed on record, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WP.MP.No.48436 of 2013 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
