The learned Additional Advocate General informed that on 17.12.2013 the Apex Court granted interim stay of operation of the impugned judgment.

In the above circumstances, the Contempt Case is closed. It is left open to the petitioners to initiate contempt proceedings afresh if there is a fresh cause of action.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Contempt Case shall stand closed.
