THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.18922 of 2006 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging 4(1) notification issued on 24.08.2006, proposing to acquire the land to an extent of Ac.3.00 in Sy.No.23/3B of Vellampalli Village of Maddipadu Mandal, Prakasam District, for the purpose of providing house site to weaker sections. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Pleader placed a copy of the written instructions dated 02.12.2016 issued to him by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ongole, whereby it is intimated that as the house sites of alternative lands were already distributed, the proposal to acquire the subject land, in respect of which stay is in operation in the present writ petition, was withdrawn and such proposal was submitted to the Collector, Ongole on 17.07.2009.

In view of the statement made by the Revenue Divisional Officer intimating that the proposal to acquire the subject land was withdrawn and the same is sent to the Collector, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed recording the aforesaid statement. No order as to costs.

The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition stand closed.
