HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.21751 of 2003 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication, as the respondents paid the amount to the petitioner during pendency of this writ petition.

Today, though the matter is listed under the caption " FOR DISMISSAL" , there is no representation for the petitioner. This Court has no other option except to record the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel and close the writ petition as the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. The writ petition is accordingly closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
