This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 ol Cr'P'C' seeking to quash the proceedings in CC No'950 of 2016 on the fl1e ofthellAdditionalChiefMetropolitanMagistrate,Nampally, Hyderabad.
Today, the matter is listed under the caption 'infructuous matters' and when the matter is taken up for hearing' the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, based on the e-courts case status report, would submit that after full-fledged trial' the matter has resulted in acquittal of the accused, by order dated O1'08'2019 of thellAdditionalChiefMetropolitanMagistrate,Nampally, Hyderabad, and as such, the present quash petition liled does not require further consideration by this court'
Having regard to the submissions made as above' no further orclers need be passed in the present criminal petitlon' Accordingly, the criminal petition is closed However' the petitioner is at liberty to file a petition seeking to reopen the matter' in the event the said CC has not been disposed of by the trial Court as noted above.
