RESPONDENTS Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ or order more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or orders declaring the inaction of Respondents herein in restoring the power supply to the petitioner firm i.e Glt/R Solvents, by permitting to pay the electricity bill arears of Rs 35,11,618 Equal to 00 in Eight equal instalments by considering representation daled. 1611212020, as being arbitrary, vindictive, illegal, violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 ol lhe Constitution of lndia and against to the principles of Natural Justice, and consequently direct the Respondents to restore the power supply to the petitioner firm i.e.

Heard tbe learned counsel lbr the petitioncr and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admissiot-t, This writ petition is filed questioning lhe inaction ol the respondents in restoring the power supply to the petitioner by permitting the petitioner to pay the arrears of electricity bills in eight equal monthly instalments duly considering the representation submitted by the petitioner on 16.12.2O2O. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner made a representation to respondenl No.2 on 16.12.2020 seeking to restore the power supply to the petitioner duly permitting the petitioner to pav the electricitl' bills arrears amoLlnt in eight equal monrh11,' instalments. llowever. no orders arc passed thereon till date. llence, he sceks a direction to rcspondent No.2 to dispose ol the represen ta tio t't of the petitioner, at ti-re carliest.

The learned Standing Counscl, on instrllctions, states that the representation made by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with 1aw.
