According to the learned Standing Counsel for SCB, the trade licence application submitted by the petitioner on 18.05.2026 has been rejected as evident from the copy of the online information which is placed on record' However, under the impugned notice dated 29.06.2026, the petitioner was directed to submit application for grant/renewal of the trade licence. If such application is submitted, the same will be considered in accordance with iaw.

In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit application for grant/renewal of his trade licence as directed under the impugned notice dated 29.06.2026, within a period of two (2) days from today. Until such application is considered and orders are passed, the respondent authorities not to interfere with the business of the Petitioner run under the name and style of'Jayaram Liquors'. There shall be no order as to costs As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in the writ petition, stand closed, SD/.
