1. This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in trying to demolish the petitioners' house bearing No.1-56 Part, admeasuring 96 square yards and Part of H.No. 1-56l I , admeasuring I 07 square yards' totally admeasuring 255.46 square Yards, situated at Gachibowli, SerilingamPatlY' Ranga ReddY District, illegal, arbitrary and against the as principles of natural justice and also violative of Articles 14 ' 19 ' 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India; and for a consequential direction to the respondent not to demolish the petitioners houses'

BI'R.J wP 2t tll 2026 Heard Mrs. Layeeq Unnisa Begum, learned counsel for the petitioners; and Mr. G. Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 5; and perused the material on record.

3. Mr. G. Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 5, submitted that cause in this writ petition does not survive for further adjudication and that the matter has been rendered infructuous. The request of the petitioners under Section 455-4 and 455-AA of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act 1955 has been rejected by the authorities by the order dated 12.06.2026 and a copy of the same is placed before this Court and also sen'ecl on the learned counsel for the petitioners.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the parties are directed to maintain status quo obtaining as on today respect of the petitioners' house bearing No.1-56 Part, ln admeasuring 96 square yards and Part of H.No.1-5611, admeasuring 107 square yards, totally admeasuring 255.46 square

With the above directions and observations, the writ petition is disposed of, at the adrnission stage itself' No order as to costs.

Asa sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications' if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
