THE HON'BLE SRI ]USTICE B. VIJAYSEN REDDY MACMA,No.1842 of 2011 ]UDGMENT:

The subject matter in the appeal was referred to Lok Adalat for settlement and accordingly, an award was passed on 05.12.2014 in terms of settlement. However, the award of the Lok Adalat shows that the settlement was arrived in [4ACMA. No. 1842 of 2009 , inadvertently, instead of MAClvlA.No.1842 of 2017. As such MACI'IA.No.1842 of 2OO9 was disposed of by the High Court.

Sri A. Gangaratnam, Advocate, Nizamabad, addressed a letter dated 21.10.2019 to the Secretary, Legal Services Committee, High Court for the State of Telangana, seeking rectification of mistake in the award of the Lok Adalat i.e. to record the compromise in N4ACMA.No.1842 0f 2071 instead of MACMA.No.1842 0f 2009. 3.

Pursuant to the said letter, the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, Hyderabad, vide proceedings dated 26.L7.2020 informed the Registrar (Judicial), High Court for the state of Teiangana, that in the award dated 05.12.2014, I\4ACMA.No.1824 of 2009 was corrected as l4ACl4A.No.1842 of 2011 by one of the Lok Adalat Members, as it was typographical mistake and requested to record the Lok Adalat award in lvlAcl4A. No.1842 of 2017 (OP.No.149 of 2009 ) .
