The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of respondents 4 and 5 in interfering into the civil matters and calling the petitioners to the police station and pressurizing them to settle the matter with the unofficial respondents 6 and 7.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, dated 19.12.2019, under the signature of the 5th respondent, denied the allegations made by the petitioners that respondents 4 and 5 called the petitioners to the police station on 10.11.2019 and 07.12.2019 and harassing them to sit in the police station from morning to evening. By the said written instructions, it is stated that respondents 4 and 5 never called the petitioners to the police station on the said dates, or on any other date, nor made them to sit in the police station. It is further stated that till date no complaint is given by any individual against the petitioners, nor any case is registered against them. It is also stated that the respondent police never interfered in the civil disputes of the petitioners at any point of time.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, no further orders need be passed in the present writ petition.
