THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.AMARNATH GOUD CONTEMPT CASE No.2188 of 2018 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 31.07.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.24016 of 2018. By the said order, this Court directed the State Bank of India to restore the possession of the secured asset which was taken over from the petitioner. The Manager and Authorized Officer, State Bank of India - Sri Venkata Ramana, the second respondent herein, is present in person as directed by this Court on 23.11.2018. Sri P.Vinod Kumar, learned counsel representing Mr.P.Prabhakar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, would inform this Court that the order has since been complied with. It appears that the possession of the secured asset was restored to the petitioner on 23.08.2018 itself. The report of the Advocate Commissioner dated 25.08.2018 filed along with the counter of the second respondent bears out this fact.

In that view of the matter, there is no disobedience, much less, willful disobedience, warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction.

This Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.
