HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Contempt Case No.1827 of 2016 JUDGMENT:

This contempt case was filed alleging non-implementation of the orders passed in WP No.36800 of 2013 dated 28.06.2016.

2. The said writ petition was filed by the in-charge Headmistress, who was working as School Assistant (Telugu) in the Fifth respondentSchool, challenging the order of promotion in favour of the sixth respondent dated 10.09.2013. In this circumstance, after considering the rival contentions, this court allowed the writ petition by order dated 28.06.2016.

3. Now a counter-affidavit has been filed by the second respondent, stating that the service rendered by the petitioner as incharge Headmistress is treated as regular promotion and accordingly, the Correspondent of Andhra Girls High School, Khammam, has issued promotion orders to the petitioner, vide his proceedings dated 19.12.2016. Subsequently, the second respondent has ratified the promotion orders vide his proceedings dated 27.12.2016.

4. In view of the same, no further orders are required in the contempt case. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions in this case, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. No costs.
