The State of Telangana, Rep. by its Principal Secretary to Government Home Department, Secretariat Building Hyderabad - 500 001 ...RESPONDENTS Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of a writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia, (i) declaring the action of the 1st Respondent in not including the name of the Petitioner in the Provisional Seniority List of Deputy Superintendents of Police between 02.06.2014 to 31.08.2021 issued in proceedings Rc.No.192/G3/2O22, daled 25.11.2022 by the 1st Respondent and not considering the case of the Petitioner for promotion to the post of Addl.

SP against the vacancy earrnarked for ST (Women) under Rules 22, rcad with Rule 22-A of the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules and considering the case of ST (Men) against such vacancy is arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory, malafide, u nconstitutional, violating Articles 14, 16 21 of the Constitution of lndia apart from contrary to Rules 22, 22-A 33 of Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules. (ii) and issue consequential directions directing the Respondents forthwith consider the case of the Petitioner for promotion to the post of Addl.

On lhe other hand, learned Specia Government Pleader sr bmits that the seniority list has z; Iready been issued by the respondents and the case cf tl Le cetitioner does not s.and within the merit list and ther:llrre the case of the petitioner is not considered and further submits that the repre;entation dated 29.I1.2O2t1 ma.cle by the petitioner vill be considered in accordanr:e with law. 4.
