1] The applicant is seeking bail in C.R.No.215 of 2015 registered with Ghatkopar police station, Mumbai dated 21.7.2015 under sections 3 and 25 of the Indian Arms Act. 2] It is the case of prosecution that the police on secret information accosted the applicant at Kamani, Kurla, when the applicant was found in illegal possession of a country made revolver having six chambers and two live cartridges. The applicant could not answer the satisfactorily about the possession of the weapon with him. After completion of investigation the police have filed

YBG ba2408-15 charge sheet.

3] The applicant has been charged only under sections 3 and 25 of the Indian Arms Act. The applicant was arrested on 21st July 2015. Learned APP submits on instructions that there are no antecedents at the discredit of the applicant. In view of the above, I am inclined to grant bail to the applicant.

Hence, the following order:- (I) The applicant be released on bail in C.R.No.215 of 2015 registered with Ghatkopar police station, Mumbai on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.50,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount; (ii) The applicant shall report to the Ghatkopar police station on first Monday of every month between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon. (iii) The applicant shall not tamper with and/or influence prosecution witnesses;

(iv) The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms (A.S.GADKARI, J)
