The limited relief sought in this petition is to direct the respondents to decide his application for the renewal of license under the Rules for Licensing and Controlling Places of Public Amusements (Other than Cinemas) and

Rane * 2/2 * WP-5431-2017 (SR. 904) Friday, 29.12.2017 Performances for Public Amusement including Cabaret Performances, Discotheque, Games, Pool Game Parlours, Amusement Parlours Providing Computer Games, Virtual Reality Games, Cyber Cafes, Games with Net Connectivity, Bowling Alleys, Card Rooms, Social Clubs, Sports Clubs, Melas and Tamashas Rules, 1960 ("the said Rules" for short). The petitioner is running Video Game Parlour since 2006 for which the license was renewed by the respondents every year and as such is in force till 31st December, 2017. In view of this fact, respondents no.2 and/or 3 are directed to decide the application of the petitioner dated 21st December, 2017 seeking renewal of subject license under the said Rules within a period of one month from today. The petition is disposed off accordingly.
