DATED : AUGUST 10, 2021 This is an application seeking restoration of Criminal Writ Petition No. 576/2018, which stood dismissed with costs of Rs.5000/-, by order dated 03/02/2021. The said order was passed, for the reason that none appeared on behalf of the petitioners on two successive dates of listing. The said order specifically recorded that no application for restoration shall be entertained unless the aforesaid costs of Rs.5000/- are deposited by the petitioners.

Along with the present application, a receipt showing deposit of Rs.5000/- towards costs is annexed. In the application, it is stated that although

2 22- appw 53-2021.odt the counsel appearing for the petitioners had requested one of his colleagues to seek a pass over before this Court, as the said counsel was appearing in another Court, none appeared for seeking pass over, leading to dismissal of the Writ Petition. 3.

For the reasons stated in the application and also because the amount of costs is deposited, Criminal Writ Petition 576 of 2018 is restored. List the said Writ Petition for further consideration on 23rd August 2021.
