ORDER

This appeal is filed against the judgment dated 24.01.2012 made in C.C.No.10273 of 2003 on the file of VII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai. By the said judgement, the respondent was acquitted of the offences under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. 1/3

Earlier, when the matter came up for hearing on 28.02.2025, none appeared and the Registry was directed to verify whether any vakalat had been filed and to issue notice to both the appellant and the respondent informing them that the matter would be listed on 22.03.2025. Notice has been issued. The name of the parties as well as the learned counsel are printed in the cause list. Today also (i.e.on 06.06.2025), none appeared on behalf of the appellant.
