Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal Revision Case No. on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner in C.C.No.1/201 dated 08/12/2017 passed by the IInd Additional District Court (CBI Cases), Coimbatore and to enlarge him on bail pending disposal of the accompanying Criminal Appeal.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A. No.796/2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.A.NAGARATHINAM, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to suspend the sentence of imprisonment imposed in the judgment dated 08.12.2017 made in C.C.No.1 of 2012 on the file of the II Additional District Court (CBI Cases), Coimbatore and enlarge the petitioner on bail, convicted and sentenced the petitioner as under:
Conviction Sentence under Section Section 120B r/w 409, 465, 467, 468, 471, 477A IPC Three years rigorous imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- in default to undergo one month simple imprisonment.

Section 13(2) r/w 13(1) (c)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 Section 409, 467, 468, 477A IPC One year simple imprisonment One year rigorous imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/- in default to undergo one month simple imprisonment Section 465, 471 of IPC Section 13(1)(c)(d) r/w 13(2)
2. Challenging the same, the present appeal has been filed along with this petition for suspension of sentence.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial Court has suspended the sentence till 05.01.2018, and the fine amount has also been paid.
4. As arguable points are raised in the memorandum of grounds of criminal appeal and considering the fact that the sentence of imprisonment imposed on the petitioner had already been suspended by the trial Court. Therefore, this Court is inclined to suspend the sentence until further orders on the following condition that i) the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned II Additional District Court (CBI Cases), Coimbatore, within the period of two weeks from the receipt of this order and also
ii) the petitioner shall appear before the above said Court on the first working day of every English calendar month at 10.30 a.m, until further orders.
