The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to enlarge the detenu namely, Dhanasekaran, S/o.Late. Raman, on Parole to attend the death of his mother Late. Anjalai and to perform her last rituals.

When this matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
