ORDER
1. This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed, to exempt the petitioner from surrendering as per the judgment, dated 20.04.2026, passed in CA.No.25 of 2025 on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions
Judge, Cuddalore at Virudhachalam, confirming the order of Judicial Magistrate Court Tittagudi in CC.no.103 of 2018, dated 28.06.2024.
2. This Court heard Mr.K.Karuppaiyamooppanar, the learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.N.Dinesh, the Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the Respondent.
3. Upon hearing both sides and perusing the case materials, this Court finds no compelling or extraordinary grounds to waive the mandatory requirement of surrender prior to the consideration of the Criminal Revision petition. In the light of the settled legal position and the order passed by this Court, dated 16.06.2026, in Crl.MP.No.9695 in Crl.RC.No.1209 of 2026, the statutory mandate cannot be bypassed.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition, seeking exemption from surrender is dismissed.
