O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC in Crime No. Not known of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that they had received a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- from the defacto complainant. Now, the defacto complainant demands a sum of Rs.4,50,000/-. He further submitted that the petitioners are willing to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- which has been received by them. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that petition enquiry against the petitioner is pending in Current Paper No.358 of 2020.

4.The petitioners are directed to co-operate with the enquiry. During the enquiry, the respondent police is directed not to arrest the petitioner.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with the above observation and direction.
