When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr. B.Shankar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner does not want to press this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition and seeks the permission of this Court to withdraw the same. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also made an explicit endorsement to that effect in the case bundle today.
