-2The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of his appeal filed under Section 47A(5) of the Registration Act, 1908, preferred against the proceedings dated 22.06.2022, of the second respondent.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the appeal will be disposed of within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and prior to disposal, the writ petitioner would be heard.

3. In the light of the above submission, a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
