When the matter was taken up today for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant regarding the purchase of a house, the respondent police called the petitioners for enquiry and that they were not harassed during the enquiry. He further submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to follow the procedures prescribed by their higher officials, if the dispute between the parties is civil in nature and to dispose of the complaint in accordance with law. 30.12.2025 ham To 1.
