ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.1 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C and Section 4 of DP Act in Crime No.53 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner herein is the husband of the defacto complainant and the remaining accused are in-laws and they were granted anticipatory bail by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Madurai. The alleged occurrence took place in the year 2006 and the present complaint has been given in the year 2016 alleging that the petitioners along with other accused have demanded dowry. 3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents states that investigation is going on.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of his arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.1, Usilampatti and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. Until further orders. The petitioners shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

4. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
