(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) Consistently, there is no representation for the appellant. When the matter was listed for hearing on 01.10.2021, there was no representation for the appellant. Hence, the matter was adjourned to 05.10.2021. On 05.10.2021 also, there was no representation for the appellant. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption 'for dismissal' on 07.10.2021.

2.Though the matter has been listed under the caption 'for dismissal' today ie., 07.10.2021, none appeared for the appellant. Hence, this Court has no other option to dismiss the Writ Appeal for non-prosecution.

3.Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
