(R3 is suo muto impleaded by this Court vide order dated 23.12.2021) Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct the Kabadi competition in District Level Scheduled on 30.12.2021 at about 8 pm to 31.12.2021 at about 6 am at Manakavalapuram ground, Ittamozhi Village, Thisaiyanvilai Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 17.12.2021 and 20.12.2021. ORDER

The petitioner wants to hold the petition mentioned event. 2.It is stated that there is no communal angle. 3.The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vallioor is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event. It is open to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vallioor to stipulate appropriate conditions to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. The petitioner through his counsel gives an undertaking that the organizers of the event will adhere to the police directives.
