ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested by the respondent police on 27/11/2013 for the alleged offence under Sections 8 (C) r/w. 20 (b) (ii) (b) of NDPS Act in Crime No.352 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence.

3. Learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) strongly objected to grant bail to the petitioner because the petitioner was arrested while he was in possession of 1,250 kilograms of ganja.

4. I have carefully considered the rival contentions put forward by either side and also perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering all these facts and also considering the fact, I am inclined to grant the relief of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner are directed to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge of Principal Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Madurai and he shall stay at Madurai and shall appear before Tallakulam Police Station daily at 11.00 a.m., until further orders. sd/- 30/12/2013 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
