ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was remanded to the judicial custody by the respondent police on 14.12.2013 for the alleged offence under Section 306 of IPC in Crime No.358 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that due to dowry harassment, the deceased committed suicide.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been in judicial custody from 14.12.2013 and he is no way connected with the offence.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner committed suicide by self immolation after 16 years of wedding and the accused/petitioner has also suffered injuries while trying to douse the fire.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and also perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail on the following conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
