2. The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (B), 323, 506 (i) of IPC read with 3

(1) (x) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 in Cr.No.935 of 2013 on the file of the respondent Police, moves this petition seeking direction to the learned III Additional District Judge cum P.C.R. Court, Madurai to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of their surrender in Crime No.935 of 2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Umachikulam Police Station, Madurai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Perused the records.

4. The offences complained of, other than the offence under the Special enactment, may not be serious in nature warranting initial detention in jail, even before considering the bail application.

5.Therefore, the learned III Additional District Judge cum P.C.R Court, Madurai, is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider bail application on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of petitioners surrendering before the said Court within 15 days from today and his filing of petition seeking bail.
