ORDER

Seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Kabbadi Tournament by the PMRT Kabadikulu at Manthai Thidal, Koothiyarkundu, Madurai District, on 28.12.2013 & 29.12.2013, the petitioner has preferred this Writ Petition.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made an application for conducting 'Kabbadi Tournament'. Since it is yet to be disposed of, by the respondents, the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has made an application only on 17.12.2013 and it is under process. However, the respondents will consider and pass appropriate orders.

4. Taking into consideration that the festival is scheduled on 28.12.2013, the second respondent is directed to consider the said application and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and also considering the ground reality prevailing there. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
