JUDGMENT
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking an expeditious convening of Medical Board to examine the petitioner as directed by the Principal Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Kozhikode by Ext.P2.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that there are a number of cases pending before the Medical Board and that at present, the cases of March 2012 are being examined. Obviously, the petitioner's application for medical examination, allowed in September, 2013, was received only in March, 2013. Petitioner has merely averred that he has an opportunity to study abroad as a reason for out of turn examination; which is not at all substantiated. In such circumstances, it may not be proper for this Court to upset the time table fixed by the Medical Board. However, if the petitioner files an application for expeditious
WP(C).30570/13 disposal of his case with sufficient documents to substantiate his case, then, the Medical Board, if satisfied about the genuineness of the claim, may expeditiously convene the Medical Board to examine the petitioner.
The writ petition is closed.
