Heard Mr. L.Mohanty, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking to quash the notice under Annexure-2 dated 08.11.2021 passed by the Tahasildar, Rampur in Encroachment Case No.253 of 2021 and further to issue direction to opposite party no.2 to take appropriate steps to settle the land in question, i.e. Plot No.1456 in Khata No.351 of Area Ac.0.005 dec. of Mouza-Dunguripali in the district of Subarnapur in favour of petitioner no.2.

Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.4-Tahasildar, Rampur to take a decision on the objection filed by the petitioners under Annexure-3 and pass appropriate order by affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners within a period of two months from the date of production/communication of certified copy of this order. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
