HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 19.09.2001 (Annexure P-6) and the order dated 27.09.2001 (Annexure P-7) vide which the services of the petitioner had been terminated.
Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that the present petitioner has been rendered infructuous as in terms of the interim order passed by this Court, the petitioner continued in service and ultimately, he was absolved in service on 16.02.2018 and he is going to superannuate in the year 2029 and all admissible benefits shall be paid to him.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance MOHD YAKUB 2026.07.03 14:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
CWP-15583-2001 raised in the present writ petition no longer survives and he is satisfied with the statement made on behalf of the respondents. He, therefore, prays that the present petition be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
