**** SHALINI SINGH NAGPAL J. (Oral) The Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks the following reliefs:- (i) Direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to take action on representation dated 13.06.2026.

(ii) Direction to official respondents to protect life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents;

(iii) Direction to private respondents, not to interfere in the personal lives of the petitioners;

(iv) Direction to official respondents to take appropriate action against private respondents.

Notice of motion was issued on 17.06.2026.

Learned State counsel submits that on representation moved by the petitioners, statements of respondents No.4 to 7 were recorded by SUMIT SINGLA 2026.07.03 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-7160-2026 (O&M) -2the police on the lines that they had no objection to petitioner No.1 living with petitioner No.2 Gurwinder Singh, that both of them could spend their lives anywhere and further that they would not interfere in their lives. He further submits that police also recorded statement of petitioner No.1 Babli Kaur who stated that now they did not face any threat from any person and did not require any police assistance. Copy of the report submitted by Police Station Rureke Kalan to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Tapa has been placed on record. Since, the police has made inquiry into the representation dated 13.06.2026 and perceived no threat, therefore, no directions are required to be issued in the writ petition.

The petition stands disposed of.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
